Project Summary:
A new 127,000sf freezer warehouse designed and equipped with the latest systems and equipment to meet production and distributions demands. The new warehouse provides its tenants with various 28 and 25 degree areas, a meat distribution operation center for Wakefern Food Corp., 32 loading docks, a vertical storage dock leveler and a dock commander system. The warehouse provides a safe work environment for employees while they meet the high demands of working in a fast paced warehouse. In addition, all the equipment utilized in the warehouse is powered by Hydrogen cell technology, considered "green" technology.
The new freezer warehouse facility was built for Newark Farmers Market Urban Renewal LLC, which operates the facility for Wakefern Food Corp. Accommodating three tenants, the warehouse allows these businesses to more than double their capacity. |
