Christopher A. Johnson, a principal of the firm, oversees the day-to-day operations of the construction services practice. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Johnson has managed building projects in excess of 10,000,000 square feet. He represents many of the major public, private and institutional property and business owners in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Since founding Hollister Construction Services in 2004, his leadership has been instrumental to the company’s growth, fueled primarily by his accessibility and commitment to client satisfaction. Clients retain Hollister regularly because of the high level of service that Mr. Johnson provides and demands from his staff. Strong relationships naturally take route over the course of a project with Hollister. The number of employees has grown significantly and continues to do so, as does the employee retention rate; our clients look to Mr. Johnson for his commitment to quality as seen through his caliber of his staff and the execution of Hollister projects. Mr. Johnson started his career with BGA Construction, a national retail store fixture contractor and later moved to the Troast Construction Company, a regional construction manager, in the capacity of Vice President.

Hollister Construction Services’ corporate growth is best mirrored by its philanthropic concentration. As Hollister expands its new construction presence, Mr. Johnson’s leadership has intensified its commitment to the community. Hollister actively encourages staff participation in community ventures and philanthropic activities, and provides matching funds for employees’ charitable contributions. Mr. Johnson maintains firm ties with his alma mater, Fairleigh Dickinson, and remains involved in many alumni activities. In 2009, he was awarded with “The Pinnacle,” the highest honor the University bestows on its Alumni. He also has been involved with Charter Day, a dinner event held annually by the university in order to generate scholarships for at-need youth, and chairs the university’s division III athletic golf outing.

Mr. Johnson is active in numerous other charitable endeavors and supports The Ryan Wolf Kossar Foundation, The All Stars Program, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and The United Way. In 2009, he founded The Hollister Foundation, a non-operating 501(c)(3), designed to mobilize, energize and inspire professionals in the real estate and construction industries to support and fund children’s education and health programs. The mission of The Hollister Foundation is to raise and distribute funds, and it promotes awareness for organizations that foster children’s advancement through education and health initiatives. The foundation has raised in excess of $1,300,000 to date. He is also a founder of Strides for Sara, an organization that helps raise funds for a Westfield, N.J. girl born with cerebral palsy.

Joe Furey joined Hollister Construction Services in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. Joe brings over 25 years' experience in the industry, leading business operations, strategic and financial planning and analysis and reporting. Joe manages all finance and accounting functions and the financial strategy of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, Joe is a business partner and works effectively with all senior officers and departments within Hollister, and is responsible for planning and budgeting, insurance and banking relations and oversight of general accounting.

Matt Higgins joined Hollister Construction Services in 2013 as Vice President of Operations, bringing over 25 years of business and industry experience. As Chief People Officer, Matt provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of Hollister. As a strategic planner and goal oriented professional, Matt directs the operations of Hollister in support of its goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, Matt measures progress and adjusts processes accordingly to keep the entire organization on track. He also collaborates closely with other departments and segments of management to establish and execute responsibilities.

Leading a team of 50 employees, Brendan delivered millions of square feet of construction throughout the tristate market across a variety of building sectors. Through his extensive leadership training and career path he leads delivery teams successfully through the construction process. His broad knowledge base provides tremendous value to the clients as he has the ability to quickly identify the most efficient methods of construction while being conscious of both schedule and budget.

Dominick Aquilina

Dominick Aquilina has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He oversees the construction management services of the New York office. Mr. Aquilina develops new business for the firm and maintains quality relationships with existing clients. Since establishing the New York Office in 2009, he has grown business substantially.
